This method already established in Europe is exclusively available in Berkeley Clinic . In addition it does not involve use of any needle injections, therefore no bruising or swelling as opposed to other treatment methods.
Mesoporation is a non-injectable process that delivers a cocktail of active substances deep into the tissue. To be more precise we can actually determine how deep the active ingredient will penetrate, depending on problem to be treated.
All this happens with the help of electrical micro current which firstly opens up electrical channels in our skin so even large molecules can penetrate to the targeted area.
Secondly, through these openings / channels that are created, electrical micro currents then carry electrically charged active ingredient directly to the targeted area. This type of treatment is not available in the beauty salons as we are affecting deeper tissues.
Comparisons were made between Iontophoresis (usually available in beauty salons) and mesoporation where much higher penetration of active ingredients were found in the dermal layer after mesoporation-as high as 98% as opposed to Iontophoresis where the active ingredients present after treatment in the dermal layer of the skin was 3%.
Previously we were only able to achieve the same results with multiple injections (you may have heard of Restylane Vital which would be popular in decolette (chest) area. This is basically hyaluronic acid that is injected into the dermal layer, again multiple injections are necessary.
With mesoporation we deliver an appropriate dose of active ingredients to where they are needed without injections . These injections then can activate physiological processes in the tissue that significantly helps to either reduce cellulite, reduce localised fatty areas, reduce lines and wrinkles or overall increase hydration / plumpness of dermal layer.

One of the reasons for aged appearance of the skin would be that the levels of Hyaluronic acid – H.A. – in the dermal layer are decreasing with age and with cumulative UVA / UVB exposure. We deliver H.A. directly into the dermal layer. Therefore, lines and wrinkles can be reduced as well as overall skin hydration and plumpness on the whole face, therefore improving overall skin texture and reversing ageing process. We find this great complimentary treatment to our range of Skin Peels, Microdermabrasion, Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing and Intense Pulsed Light. Double Chin
A cocktail of ingredients that increase microcirculation and dissolve localised fatty deposits is delivered exactly to the needed area. Usually a course of treatments is required, the number of treatments can be anything between 6 – 12 depending on individual problem. We found this treatment works well in conjunction with our Starlux Laser Infra Red deep tissue tightening. An extra benefit for our male clientele who suffer from ingrown hair was a great improvement in this condition.
